Recognizing Nicole Hinzie, RN

National Nurse Week is May 6-12 and we want to recognize our Director of Nursing, Nicole Hinzie.

Q: What is your favorite thing about being an RN?

My favorite part about nursing is how diverse it is, there are so many different avenues that can be taken and there are constant opportunities to learn, grow and be challenged. Most importantly, I like the satisfaction that caring for others can make a difference in someone’s life.

Q: What motived you to become a nurse?

I do not think that any one person or event inspired me to be a nurse. I think that my initial compassion of caring for others is what initiated my path but it was the numerous ‘unknowing; mentors that shaped my career path and made me into the person that I am today.
