Owners and Founders of Advanced Medical Home Care attend the 25th annual Alzheimer’s Purple Gala.
The Alzheimer’s Association’s annual Purple Gala is a time to celebrate and honor the lives of people impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The evening includes a reception and silent auction followed by a gourmet dinner, live auction, entertainment, and after party with a live band. Proceeds from the Gala raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
At Advanced Medical, we care and treat many individuals struggling with dementia. Our therapists, nurses, and aides work diligently with their patients and we are proud to partner with the ALZ Foundation to fight this horrible disease.

We have winter weather coming, please be prepared! Here are a couple things to remember:
1. Our company shoe policy, shoes must be worn in homes at all time, plan to pack a pair in your work bag that are clean and you can wear in your patient’s homes.
2. Have an emergency kit and items stocked in your vehicle.
3. Get tires rotated, check for air pressure, and winter tires if possible.
During our MN winter months please think about packing:
Shovel, windshield scraper
Bottles of Water and dry snacks
Extra hat, mittens, boots, and snow pants
Matches and Candle
Let’s have a safe and enjoyable Minnesota winter!

Our VitalStim program is underway! We are excited to begin using this device with our patients.
What’s a VitalStim you might ask?
VitalStim® Therapy is a safe and effective treatment for patients suffering with difficulty swallowing or dysphagia. It was developed in response to the 15 million Americans living with dysphagia today. The VitalStim® Therapy System is a non-invasive, external electrical stimulation therapy cleared to market by the Food and Drug Administration in 2002 for the treatment of dysphagia with application on the anterior neck.
